Kathmandu,13 June 2017 : The election commission had given three days to parties to submit signature of office bearers who had issued tickets to candidate but RJP-N has missed the deadline to submit their documents. The newly formed Rastriya Janta Party-Nepal did not submit documents required for participating in second phase of local level election. RJP-N did not submit the required documents within the stipulated deadline and only the Lok Dal and the Madhesh Terai Forum submitted their documents. There is no possibility of the EC extending the deadline. The candidate would file their nomination papers on June 16,said EC spokesperson Surya Prasad Sharma.RJP-N leader Rajendra Mahato said, since they had announced protest against the local polls, they did not submit the required documents. He added, we are not participating in local level election, as our political demands are not being addressed.
